WWE 205 live returns to the WWE network tonight (March 19, 2019), returning live on Tuesday night, with a show from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Announced for tonight: Cruiserweight champion Buddy Murphy looks as unstoppable as his nickname, general manager Drake Maverick, announced the creation of a tournament to determine his opponent. WrestleMania 35. We are already at the final. Tony Nese, Murphy's partner in training, facing the man Buddy beat for the belt, Cedric Alexander.

  • Cédric Alexander is interviewed behind the scenes to talk about his confidence in his victory tonight when Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese will get up. Nese says they've struggled and they've won a few and lost a few, so what makes him think he's pretty good tonight? Alexander replies that Tony is Buddy's mate and tries to sow discord before Murphy reminds him every time he beats him for the title. Cedric points out that it seems that Buddy does not think Nese can win and let the students think about it.
  • Tony acts as if everything is fine and lets Murphy wonder where he is.
  • The comment announces a match of trios between Lucha House Party and the team of Drew Gulak, Humberto Carrillo and Jack Gallagher for next week.
  • Tony Nese on Cedric Alexander by falling with the knee on the ground to become the No. 1 contender at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship (Tournament Finals)
  • After the match, Cedric shares a moment with Tony in sportiness then Buddy gets up to raise the hand of his friend to victory … AND PLAYS HIS FACE! Murphy poses on Nese's fallen body with the title.
