Players and staff from Leicester City arrived in Thailand to pay their respects to club president Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who died before cremation on Thursday.

Manager Brendan Rodgers, members of his team and non-international City players, including captain Wes Morgan and forward Jamie Vardy, traveled to Bangkok.

They joined Vichai's son, the vice-president of the city, Aiyawatt, at his father's last home.

Vichai died in a helicopter crash in front of King Power Stadium after the Leicester vs. West Ham match last October.

His body rests in a temple for 100 days, according to Buddhist tradition, and will be cremated Thursday at a ceremony attended by the Thai king.

This visit marks the second time that Leicester has been to Thailand since the crash, former manager Claude Puel and the team attending his funeral in November.

They must return to Leicester on Saturday.
