Speaking to the media, Oppong Nkrumah said that the Cedi has been appreciated in recent days and that the Akufo-Addo government is working hard with the Bank of Ghana and the Central Bank. .

He said: "The cedi is currently seeing some appreciation over the past two or three days and it is clear that these are the interventions that the government, through the Bank of Ghana, initially put in place. and pbaded by the central bank. we have seen the effects of speculators. "

Commenting on the aggression of Ghanaian Times reporters, the information minister said that an investigation would be conducted, following which those found guilty would be treated.

"We have been in contact with the Ministry of the Interior and the police service, I understand that they have taken statements and that they are currently investigating this case," he said. he declared.
