Mubarak Wakaso, Ghanaian midfielder
Ghana midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso, says it's an honor to play for the Black Stars as he looks at his 52nd selection for the country on Saturday against Kenya.
The Black Stars will face Kenya on Saturday in their last qualifying match for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Wakaso, who plays for the Spanish club Alaves, should play a key role for the Black Stars as they attempt to finish the playoffs with style.
The player born in Tamale always has the privilege of serving his country playing for the senior national team.
"It's always a pleasure to get together and play for the national team, I'm very happy to see everyone. We will approach the match with the utmost seriousness, "said Wakaso.
"Wearing the national jersey always gives me joy and demands that I do my best."
Ghana is looking to defeat Kenya in revenge for the Harambee Stars by beating them 1-0 in Nairobi in their previous group show last year.
The Black Stars are also looking to finish first in the qualifying group and only a win can guarantee them that place.
