'The Kenan Show': Andy Garcia as NBC Comedy Pilot

Andy Garcia has reserved his first role on television: the film actor will play the opposite role SNLKenan Thompson in the comedy pilot at an NBC camera The Kenan show, our sister site Deadline reports.

The project follows a newly widowed father (Thompson) determined to be everything to his children while reluctantly leaving his persistent father-in-law (Garcia), a retired police officer, to become more involved in their lives.

Garcia has already appeared on the small screen in episodes of Ballers, George Lopez, Will and Grace and Frasier. He recently played in the movie HBO TV My dinner with Hervé.
