Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his intention to return to management this summer.

The 56-year-old Portuguese boss has been absent from football since he was expelled from Manchester United in December, although he has been linked to several vacancies in recent months.

Mourinho was largely linked to a return to Real Madrid despite speculation about the future of Santiago Solari, but these projects were interrupted by the surprise meeting of Zinedine Zidane with Los Blancos.

However, rumors continue to tie Mourinho to a move to Inter Milan or even to a third stint with Chelsea and the seasoned boss has now revealed that he wanted to land a new role this summer.

"I've been running a club for the last time for three and a half months and I'm getting ready to (wait) again," he told BeIN Sports.

"When you're in the football world, between press conferences, games, video sessions, match badysis and everyday problems, you never have time for yourself, so I've used these last months to to restart.

"The coaching position is special and I appreciate the daily work.I want to come back this summer, starting in June, for the start of the season.

"I know exactly what I do not want, that's why I've already turned down three or four offers."
