Dwamena made ten appearances in La Liga this season
Forward Raphael Dwamena heals an ankle injury and remains uncertain for Thursday's friendly against Extremadura UD, a second-ranked player.
The 24-year-old missed last Friday's 1-1 draw at Real Sociedad and replaced the injury the week before in Villarreal's 2-0 defeat.
Dwamena is struggling to save time since the summer match on the Swiss side of FC Zurich.
He has made ten appearances in La Liga this season and has not yet found the back of the net.
