Former Maroons FC coach, Asaph Mwebaze Jr., is not happy after the appointment of Ghanaian tactician Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin to the post of coach of the Ugandan national U-17 team. years.

The Young Cranes qualified for the AFC CAN Under 17 in Tanzania this year and the Ghanaian blunderer was recruited to lead the team.

Mwebaze however thinks that a Ugandan is able to manage the team and he sees no reason why he should bring someone outside to do the job.

"I welcome Mr. Kwesi Samuel as a coach for our youth team." Mwebaze's Facebook post reads as follows.

"But today, I wonder why some of us are deeply involved in football as a vocation. Every footballer wants to represent his country at any level, so why are not Ugandan coaches able to lead our national teams?

Fabian was the coach when Ghana ranked second in the AFCON Under-17 in Gabon in 2017 and in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in India.
