Base Resources Limited General Manager (LON: BSE), Tim Carstens, tells Proactive that the results of a pre-feasibility study on his Toliara project in Madagascar confirmed that it was about one of the best mineral sands development opportunities in the world.
Based on existing resources, the PFS estimated the life of a mine at 33 years, generating 806,000 tons of ilmenite, 54,000 t of zircon and 8,000 t of rutile each year.
