Kaley Cuoco was initially rejected from "The Big Bang Theory". because she was too young

Kaley Cuoco has been playing Penny in "The Big Bang Theory" for 12 years, but she has hardly been in the series.

In an interview with TV Insider for the last season of the CBS broadcast, Cuoco, 33, said that she had auditioned for the show but had not been selected because of his age.

"I was too young, what I like to say because I can not say I'm too young," she said.

Cuoco first auditioned for the role of Katie, a character who does not exist in the series but who was part of the original unpublished pilot.

Actor Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard in the series, said that it was "natural" to add Cuoco to the cast.
