It also comes at a time when the Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has completed the seventh and eight reviews under the Ghana Accord supported by the Extended Credit Facility (ECF).
The IMF noted that this would put at the disposal of Ghana a cumulative amount of 132.84 million SDRs (approximately 185.2 million USD).
"The Fund congratulates the authorities for completing the ECF-supported program and stands ready to support Ghana in its quest for economic prosperity," a statement on the IMF website said.
