The English winger and Borussia Dortmund was linked to a move to Old Trafford and the former Reds defender said it would be an ideal choice
Manchester United should act for English rising star Jadon Sancho, says former Red Devils defender Rio Ferdinand.
And the former Old Trafford star thinks Borussia winger Dortmund has the mentality of succeeding with the Premier League giants after leaving Manchester City to prove himself.
United has been badociated with a big fortune for the 18-year-old, who has been named the world's best teenager goals NxGn Award for the best player born after January 1, 2000.

Ferdinand, who knows the young boy born in London and his family, thinks it would be perfectly suited to the Reds, who have been looking to fill their right-hand niche problem for several years.
"I'll take it [at Manchester United] all day, "said Ferdinand Goal when asked about their interest in Sancho.
"English, young, hungry and talented, that's all I need to know."
Sancho left City in August 2017, frustrated by the lack of opportunities for the first team under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.

Sancho excelled in the Bundesliga with 35 appearances in all competitions, nine goals scored and 17 badists.
This form allowed him to impose himself in the England team and Ferdinand think his success abroad – and that of other players such as Arsenal Loanee Reiss Nelson to Hoffenheim – will benefit English football.
"I think young English people who settle abroad are good, that's good," he added. "I do not see it as a negative until everyone leaves!
"I think that in the long run it will be great for the national team.They are learning a different style of play and different cultures.They can bring it back into the melting pot of England and I think this is beneficial for Gareth Southgate's team.
"England will continue to improve because we have talent talent at all levels."
Ferdinand also thinks that the arrival of young boys like Sancho at Old Trafford can help United get back to the top.
"They will challenge the older ones and you need them in football and in the Manchester United team," he said. "Young players have to come in and push others in. The story has shown it.
"After Alex of the 1992 promotion, Sir Alex Ferguson has also invested in young players, restoring the team, always bringing young and hungry players."
