Samuel Osei Kuffuor
Former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor has been confirmed by FIFA as a new member of the standardization committee of the Ghana Football Federation.
The former central defender of the Black Stars replaces the lawyer Duyer Adaeng, former member of the Board of Asante Kotoko, on the committee.
However, the Standards Committee has been extended for six months and is expected to expire on September 30, 2019.
The standardization committee was instituted last October to replace the executive committee of the GFA, following the creation of a documentary by investigative journalist Anas Amereyaw Anas and Tiger Eye PI, which featured Many football officials receiving gifts offending conduct.
The committee was charged with leading the reforms in Ghanaian football and managing the day-to-day administration of the badociation.
Kuffour joins Lucy Quist, Naa Odofoley and Kofi Amoah as a member of the Standards Committee.
