Paradox Interactive has released Vampires: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 at this year's Game Developers Conference. Thus, the 2004 vampire role-playing game receives a successor after a long wait. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer that fits the dark scenario.

Vampires in Seattle
The scene of Bloodlines 2 is the city of Seattle, where, behind the scenes of normal life, a war breaks out between the different vampire factions that surround the blood trade. In doing so, the players themselves become leeches and must meet for the first time in this new world. By curing their thirst for blood, they can become an increasingly powerful vampire, but then run the risk of losing their remnants of humanity.
In the middle of the vampire war, players must join one of the factions and form alliances. However, these decisions must be made wisely because they influence the behavior of other vampires and can therefore significantly affect the course of the game.
As for the original, Brian Mitsoda is again involved as the main narrative designer in the making. Vampires: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released in 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
