Ghanaian police confirmed that a security officer captured in a viral video brutally kicking at the head of a man was not a police officer.

An amateur video recording of the incident shows a young man wearing an orange shirt and kneeling jeans in the middle of some people.

The man (now identified as a Municipal guard) then appears behind him after shooting with his leg dressed in beige combat boots and he hits the head of the man who collapses to the ground.

We hear a voice complimenting the Municipal guard for his kick "Bruce Lee" and asking for a rehearsal while the victim is helped by another metropolitan guard on his lap.

A policewoman then arrives at the scene before the end of the video.
