Unidentified bodies were believed to have been thrown into the area after their deaths.

One of the residents, Reverend Stephen Osei Owusu, who spoke to Graphic Online, said around 6 am that he had heard students who were using the back of his house to surrender at school shouting that a body was lying there.
He said that the students were the first to appear on the scene and that, after shouting, they went there to verify the fact.
According to him, when he got there, he saw the body of a fair [light skin] Lady lying on her back with her pants almost down, exposing her private part with blood flowing from her mouth.
He said that he had done pulse tests and realized that she was still alive with a very weak pulse.

Reverend Osei Owusu said that he had called an ambulance and police, but that none of them has arrived at the time.
He said that a few minutes later, he had heard other screams from another body, not far from the first one.
The second body was found kneeling with the chest and face against the ground, without underwear.
According to him, the bodies are not known faces in the community and they could have been killed elsewhere and deposited there.
