Manchester United are ready to face Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Borussia Dortmund and the English star Jadon Sancho, report the Sun.

Both clubs have contacted the Bundesliga about a £ 70 million contract for the 18-year-old, who left Manchester, the Premier League champion, for Germany in 2017.

Sancho, who starred in the Czech Republic's 5-0 dispatch to Wembley on Friday night, suggested that the Old Trafford club is his favorite destination.

Former City winger re-tweeted a message from former United defender Rio Ferdinand, calling on Sancho to choose United, before removing evidence after that created a frenzy of excitement for his next possible move.

He has scored nine goals and made 13 badists in the Bundesliga this season, while Dortmund faced the champion, Bayern Munich, for the title.

A move of this magnitude would be a huge embarrbadment for the former club City, which allowed Sancho to leave for only 8 million pounds two years ago, although Pep Guardiola's team still enjoys a consolation of 15% of the sales costs.

Sancho scored the first of three goals for Sterling in England

The player made his first international start against the Czechs while England won the victory in his first qualifying outing for Euro 2020. The superb crossing of Raheem Sterling allowed him to drag the first of his three goals of the evening.

The teenager is making a splash since he's swapped the city's youth ranks for Germany, and his brilliant way of dragging Dortmund to the top of the Bundesliga has created a trend of leading German teams who are looking to invest in young English talent.

Hoffenheim loaned Reiss Nelson on loan from Arsenal for the season. The graduate of the Gunners Academy has had a positive impact. Bayern remains on the heels of Chelsea striker Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Dortmund's sports director Michael Zorc told Sancho last week: "We are definitely planning next season with him."
