Captain Marvel has a few surprises for fans, but one of the most important is the identity of Mar-Vell. In the film, it is revealed that Annette Bening is actually Mar-Vell, Carol Danvers's mentor in many ways. We hear about how she rebelled against the Kree after she was sent to Earth, but we do not really see her in action until Carol's origins manifest themselves. There is still much to explore in Mar-Velland what she did before her Captain Marveland according to Marvel Studios' head Kevin Feige, it looks like we'll have more of his legacy.
"Will we see him live longer?" "Yeah, I mean, I think one of the things that amuses us in the timeline of this movie and the potential for future stories with these characters is that there is a great past, not just that of Mar-Vell, but of all the Skrull / Kree conflict and that historic gap between Carol Danvers and Talos in the end, and her arrival with the Avengers, "Feige told ScreenRant.
This suggests that Marvel wants to explore more of the timeline between Captain Marvel and Iron Manand since this will probably involve the Kree (after all, she sent them a message), it would be an ideal opportunity to further explore the heroic exploits of Mar-Vell while continuing to show why Mar-Vell was counting on so much for Carol.
"We wanted to give him his own corner of the universe, his own mythology," said Feige. "Although we are not specific about this in the film, it is possible to understand where it has been all this time. Why have we not seen it yet?" The answer is revealed and evoked in this film, while it colossal and universal conflict in another section of the MCU ".
We would like to see more Mar-Vell films in future movies, and we hope to have the chance to see her as soon as possible.
