VICE-PRESIDENT Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday, March 22, 2019, has returned to his Alma Mater, University of Buckingham, UK.
He was present at the graduation ceremony of the 2019 promotion of the School of Humanities.
Commenting on the ceremony in a statement, the Vice President said: "I shared with them some of the challenges that I've faced since graduating, 32 years ago, but more importantly, the successes that I have achieved through perseverance and the desire to learn new things. while maintaining the friendship bonds formed in the university oven. "
He added that "I also had the honor of inaugurating the Buckingham University Association of Students of Ghanaian Origin (UBUSOGO), an organization bringing together students and alumni of the University".
Dr. Bawumia was at the ceremony with his wife Samira.
Both traveled from India to graduation.
Both were in New Delhi, India, on the occasion of the 14th Congress of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on the India-Africa Partnership in New Delhi, India.
