A suspect released on bail in the murder of a GPHA official

The driver of Josephine Asante Tandoh, head of marketing and public relations at the Port of Tema under the authority of the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority (GPHA), arrested for her atrocious murder, was released on bail by the High Court of Accra.

Amos Aprako, the driver, was denied bail by the TDC District Court in Tema, but his lawyers were able to secure his release on bail in the High Court last Friday. However, he was unable to meet bail conditions set by the court until Thursday.

The court awarded him a deposit of 20,000 GH ¢, with two bonds to justify. In addition, the court ordered him to report to the police once a week.

He was released with joy as his dozens of colleagues stormed the court building to show their solidarity. Some of the workers poured white powder on him before transporting him to a car in the port of Tema.

According to the information available to DAILY GUIDE, his employer granted him a few days off before resuming his official duties.

However, Christian Agyei, the deceased's servant, who was arrested after being found burying 430 GH ¢ and a wrist watch, still did not benefit from the same "freedom", although he was not allowed to do so. he also filed a court bond.

Amos was arrested by the Tema police after she last led Ms. Tandoh to an end-of-year party organized by the GPHA – the night of her badbadination.

He was arrested and placed in custody after his sperm, fingerprint, fingerprints and body fluids were extracted for laboratory badysis because he was suspected that the deceased had been badually badaulted by his murderer.

He is scheduled to appear again in court on Thursday, March 28, 2019 to continue to prove his case.
