Zayn Malik apologized for being a "fool" just weeks after his One Direction clbadmate, Louis Tomlinson, said their friendship ended after his mother died.
In a tweet deleted since, Zayn, 26, wrote: "I would like [to] excuse yourself for being a good person. "
Although the recipient of the apology is not mentioned, it comes after Louis, 27, said that things went wrong when Zayn promised to support him during his first performance of X Factor after the death of mother Johannah Deakin in 2016.
The heartbroken star – whose 18-year-old sister Felicite died of a suspected heart attack earlier this month – said that while friends of the Harry Styles group, Niall Horan and Liam Payne were all present, Zayn was absent at the last minute.
