The veteran actor Psalm Adjeteyfio revealed that when he was selected for the role of T.T in the popular television series Taxi Driver, he did not know how to drive.
On Friday, at the Super Morning Show, he explained that he had learned to drive by observing other drivers every time he joined a utility vehicle.
"The men who sold the car to the producers a day ago also showed some parts of Accra and showed me how to drive," said the veteran actor.
The Psalm Adjeteyfio may not have been able to lead but he was not discouraged thereby to abandon the role.
The actor so far is celebrated for his phenomenal role in the television series.
"When Emmanuel Apea spoke to me about the role, I was ready to try driving. We went on the set and they will say, "T.T by car from here to this place when you hear cut, stop and come back". I will stay on the spot when they say "action" and drive [as well as stop] when they say "cut", he told Daniel Dadzie, host of the show.
The Psalm Adjeteyfio said that these scenes had helped him to learn to drive and that in a short time he was driving everywhere in Accra.
He added that many people had badumed that it was actually a taxi driver stationed in Accra New Town.
"I'm surprised how people can come up with things like that. I have never been a taxi driver before, "he said.
Before becoming popular Psalm Adjeteyfio, I was a Ga teacher.
