Diana Ross, a long-time friend of Michael Jackson, has decided that Saturday would be the day of his defense against new complaints of badual violence against the pop star.
"That's what's important to me this morning," tweeted Ross. "I believe and believe that Michael Jackson was and is a [sic] wonderful incredible strength for me and for many others. Stop in the name of love. "
A devastating HBO documentary, released earlier this month, titled "Leaving Neverland," featured detailed allegations from two men claiming that Jackson had badaulted them for years while they were kids and that they were not. he was much older. This documentary is just the latest in a long history of rumors and lawsuits alleging similar abuses.

Jackson, who died in 2009, would have idolized Ross from his childhood with the Jackson 5 while she was already a well-established star. The two then became good friends, appearing and playing together over the years.
Jackson even went so far as to appoint Ross in his will as a secondary guardian of his three children in case his first choice, his mother, died.
Ross's comments arrive just one day. Barbra Streisand's mute remarks about "Leaving Neverland" were published in the London Times. In the interview, Streisand said the kids were "delighted" to be at Jackson's Neverland Ranch, where they claimed that he had been abused several times.
"They both married and they both have children, so that did not kill them," Streisand added among the men who appeared in the HBO documentary. She returned later in her comments.
Although "Leaving Neverland" has attracted criticism from Jackson's family – and some of the idols of the music industry, it seems – he has also prompted many fans to question him on the subject. King of Pop's collected works in light of the inflammatory accusations made against their creator.
