Although he was an aviation geek, Dr. John R. Watret did not plan to fly to the badpit on his Delta flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

But when he learned that the pilots were linked, Watret, chancellor of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's international campus, asked him if he could take a picture.

He posted this photo on Twitter: "I just flew from LAX to ATL on Delta driven by this mother-daughter's flight crew.Excellent flight.A source of inspiration for you women."

Then the photo of Captain Wendy Rexon and First Officer Kelly Rexon made a living. He had 17,000 retweets and 45,000 likes.

Some comments say that the picture is "inspiring" and "amazing".

Watret said to the Embry-Riddle Newsroom he was not waiting for attention.

"I do not tweet much, and on Sunday morning my phone exploded.

"The first officer had an excellent model for becoming a pilot – his mother, which is good for aviation and inspiring for all of us."

Delta also tweeted his approval: "Objectives of the family's flight crew!"

Incredibly, there is another female driver in the family – Kelly's sister also flies.
