Caleb Ekuban is thrilled after scoring for his Ghana debut in their 1-0 win over Kenya in the African Nations Cup qualifier match in 2019 in Accra on Saturday.
The Italian-born striker climbed the bench to score the only goal as the Black Stars finished qualifying as Group F winners, two points above Kenya.
He managed a left-foot shot for the first time just inside the area, too much effort for goalkeeper Matasi.
"It's pretty amazing. The first thing you want to do as an attacker is to score points. So, when you have the opportunity and you mark, you feel that it is not even real. I am really happy, "said Ekuban at the post-game press conference.
Ekuban is one of five newbie players invited by Kwesi Appiah.
