Algerian youth finds a voice of protest

It has been a month since the Algerians took to the streets to protest against the plans of the sick leader Abdelaziz Bouteflika to run for a fifth presidential term. Weekly protests prompted Bouteflika to abandon his offer, but he remains in place and protests continue, calling for his immediate resignation.

The demonstrations are widely seen by the young Algerian generations, many of whom knew only Bouteflika as president. We spoke to a young Algerian who explains why young people are demonstrating.
