The Family Club aims to offer parents and their children a number of fun activities to do in this popular shopping destination. The launch, which took place at the Food Court of Accra Center, was filled with fun activities for the whole family, such as a bouncy castle, face makeup, board games and a trampoline.
The family membership card was also unveiled and distributed to families who registered on the spot. Currently, more than 200 families are registered online and other families are still encouraged to register to join the club. The membership card allows families to receive a series of special offers and discounts, free gifts and the opportunity to participate in more events that will take place in the mall.
Speaking at the launch, Denise Asare, marketing manager for the Accra Mall, encouraged families to sign up to join the club. "This club is our way of rewarding all our loyal customers and encouraging families to visit the mall often. We organize exciting family club activities throughout the year and look forward to welcoming as many families as possible, "she said.
She added that Family Club members would also receive first-hand information about any promotion or activity that would take place at the mall.
"Among the benefits of the 'Family Club', families will have the opportunity to receive discounts and offers from some of our retailers, a free gift for children, a magazine, etc.," added.
One of the parents who attended the launch with her family expressed her enthusiasm for the club and congratulated the Accra Mall for her initiative. "I am very excited about the discounts my membership card will give me in some stores. My kids had fun too much today because of all the fun activities offered by Accra Mall. I look forward to participating in all the activities of the family club this year, "she said.
To register for the Family Club, Ms. Asare explained that a card can accommodate a family of two adults and up to six children. She added that it is open and free to all parents (grandparents, in-laws, guardians) with children under 16 years of age.

The Accra Mall, commissioned on July 4, 2008, is one of the most modern western shopping malls in West Africa and the first major shopping mall in Ghana.
