Reality fans love to meet two shows – and this time, fans would love if the Duggar family of Counting on join forces with ABC The bachelorette. We know the Duggars better for their huge family and fundamentalist views, and we've been following them for years thanks to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar who first made themselves known. Today, even the youngest of their children are growing up fast and older children are getting married and starting their own families.
So, which member of the Duggar family do fans want to see compete for love on reality TV? The answer is Jana Duggar, and here's why.
Jana Duggar is 29 years old and remains single
Jana Duggar is without a doubt the single most eligible single in the Duggar family. While many of Jana's younger brothers and sisters managed to hang out and get married, this 29-year-old is still single and lives under the roof of Jim Bob and Michelle. It seems that Jana is not opposed to attendance, but she rather expects Mr. Right to come and not content with nothing less. Fans applauded her decision to keep her high standards and wait for the right partner, but they would still like her to find the perfect man and start life by herself.
There has been a lot of speculation that Jana has secretly participated in a court, but so far, it seems like all of them are rumors. People report that fans began to panic in early 2019 when Jana joined Instagram, taking this for a sign that she was courting. Fans also thought that Jana had a love affair with Lawson Bates, although her younger sister, Jessa, has re-established the facts. "She's not in a relationship," Jessa commented on Instagram. "But if anyone is interested, send me all the nominations. I will check them thoroughly, "she added.
Fans would like her to be the star of The bachelorette
Jana's single status has made many fans anxious that she finds love – and some even said that they liked the idea that she would become the next star of The bachelorette. In Touch Weekly points out that the idea was introduced in 2018 when TLC unveiled a new trailer for Counting on. As one fan remarked: "Jana should perhaps be the next Bachelorette !!" and others quickly followed. "I have never watched this show, but I would look at it totally for Jan," added another.
Fans of The bachelorette know, of course, that the star of the show is usually on a season of The single person as a competitor before being chosen. Does this mean that fans would like to see the famous girl Duggar competing for the love of a man on The single person first? Maybe yes – but something tells us that Jana and her ultra-strict parents would not be ready for that.
Would she ever do it? Probably not
The strict court rules followed by the Duggars are certainly not in line with what is happening during The bachelorette. That's why we have no chance to see Jana play on ABC. As a reminder, all Duggar parries must be approved by Jim Bob before they happen – and there is absolutely no frontal hug, hold in hand or kiss before the wedding. All dates are accompanied by Jim Bob, Michelle or another member of the Duggar family. If Jana were the star of his own series of meetings, it is highly unlikely that Jim Bob approves (especially if fantastic sequels are involved).
In Touch Weekly Notes Duggar fans have also discussed these issues. As one fan remarked, "I do not think that a season of side hugs would bring odds." and continue to work with the church. Sorry, bachelorette fans – you'll just have to settle for Hannah B. as a future star.
