Two Harry Potter fans celebrate their commitment in an unusual – and very public – way.

After images of a beach artwork were broadcast Saturday on social media, rumors ran about the identity of Ben and Nia – and about the fact that she said "Yes".

Ben Griffiths surprised his girlfriend, Nia Roderick, by charging the Welsh artist Marc Traenor to draw his proposal on Tenby's North Beach.

It turns out that Nia said yes – although she had to look closely to spot it.

That's because the proposal, which said "Nia, do you want to marry me?" in Welsh, was part of a coat of arms much larger and decorated on the theme of Harry Potter.

Marc Traenor, sand artist, took three hours to complete the play on the north beach of Tenby, which reads in Welsh: "Nia, do you want to marry me?"

"It was such a surprise because we are not at all romantic like that," said Nia, a native of Bridgend.

The couple, from Talbot Green to Rhondda Cynon Taf, were staying in Tenby with his family at that time and decided to walk with the dog.

"We had a drink in a pub when suddenly Ben said that he was not feeling very well and that he needed to go out to get some fresh air," she said. Explain.

She did not know what her partner had planned, even though she recognized the artist Mr. Traenor, who was drawing in the sand.

Ben and Nia met while they were working together at the Aberthaw Generating Station in the Vale of Glamorgan

She said, "I'm excited because I love his work and the photo contains elements of Harry Potter's books.

"I was there and looking at the man who was doing his job and I told Ben:" Look, there are two letters on the picture, B and N; and suddenly Ben banged me on the shoulder and asked me to go back.

"He was there, on one knee, and that's when I realized that he had organized all of this, and of course, I said" yes. " . "

The couple said that they had not yet decided on a date for their wedding.
