Chief arrested for attacking police officer in Wassa Akropong ▷ Ghana news

Wbada Abreshia's leader, Nana Amoah Bediako, was arrested by police for badaulting a police officer.

According to a report from Citinewsroom.com, he reportedly hit, along with heavily-dressed men, the police officer from Wbada Akropong Police Station, Inspector Tetteh Agbanyo, and another police officer.

Police sources revealed that the incident occurred when Bediako, also known as Nana Kwasi Kumi, had parked her vehicle at an unauthorized place in front of the police office.

The station officer, Inspector Tetteh Agbanyo, then told him to move the car and park in the right place to allow others to have easy access to the office of the charges.

This, however, exasperated the chief and he allegedly slapped the station officer. He also held Agyanyo's neck, ripped his uniform and destroyed his badge and police badge.

An attempt by other police to arrest him failed because they were prevented by another police officer, Deputy Inspector Alex Donkor.
