John Cena to participate in WrestleMania 35, sources behind the scenes

WWE legend John Cena will participate in WrestleMania 35, according to behind-the-scenes sources.

Just two weeks away from the company's biggest calendar, the 16-time world title has not been scheduled yet.

However, thousands of spectators heading to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday, April 7 hope to hear otherwise.

The new Hollywood star is currently playing Playing With Fire in Vancouver, Canada, which is due to end six days before WrestleMania.

The 41-year-old has confirmed that he will be signing copies of his new children's book, Elbow Grease, in a New York City store on Friday, April 5th.

Rumor had it that he would challenge Samoa Joe for the US championship, but Joe will now face Rey Mysterio in Mania.

According to another theory, Cena would be the man who will face Kurt Angle during his retirement game, after making his debut against the 2002 Olympic gold medalist.

But with Angle now ready for a disappointing showdown with Baron Corbin, this option for "Big Match John" also seems to have been ruled out.

However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cena, from West Newbury, Mbad., Will definitely be in action at the Show of Shows.

The people he will meet remain a mystery, but one thing is for sure, that would not look like WrestleMania without the man who led the event five times.
