The Simpsons: Season 30, Episode 18

The simpsons, Season 30, Episode 18, "Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy" is a major breakthrough in the recent diversification of the series and the badimilation of its modernization. No more sharp shots at the top management of the country as the show returned to the neighborhood marked by graffiti where it all began. The episode itself begins at KrustyCon, where it's not strange to find yourself if you're an adult.

The place has it all, from Krusty Vape pens to the Sideshow Bob Prison Art Gallery. The convention ends with a roundtable in which Krusty, who hates being there again, gets angry if someone else speaks, and his co-stars take the same questions from the audience. They are wasting time with dark scenes, viewers need to remember the series, for example when Fat Tony's henchmen came to collect a gambling debt in the middle of a televised performance. Then he drops the bomb, an all-female reboot of Itchy and rough.

The common reactions of Bart and Lisa are character construction and narration. With the exact same words, "oh my god," they express exactly the opposite emotions. Bart can not believe It happens. Lisa can not believe that this is event. He is devastated. She is happy. Krusty knew that women's power was a good thing to follow because girls loved the way he treated them. The Powerpuff Girls would never let him get away with this kind of misogyny before they restarted. If that suits Krusty, who would only note the current demographic shift, finally giving the audience what its leaders say everyone wants. But not everyone likes change.

Everyone seems to be changing bad, from Captain Marvel to Ghostbusters to Frog Boys during the next TV reboot. Lost boys. Sometimes it works and sometimes not, but you can count on one thing. Someone will hate the idea even before it goes on the screen, whether big, small or animated. Boys say that girls are not funny, whether they are hot or mothers, ask the late Jerry Lewis, who explained the subtleties of the genre in comedy, even after talking about it to hot. But a woman, Mr. Magoo, is too far for some.

The first words we hear in response to the new Itchy and Scratchy are "it's different". Nothing different can possibly be good. Especially in something as experienced as this cartoon couple. The twinning started with the 1928 short film Steamboat Itchy and the traditionalists, like Bart and the boys of his clique, do not have it. They are organizing a boycott. Everyone meets at Bart's place to turn off the television at the exact moment the segment is broadcast.

But Bart sees the restart and laughs, despite himself. The episode we are looking at upstairs with Lisa is a splash party. We get torn heads in the form of bongos, followed by more beheadings and finally a satisfying conflagration that engulfs even the public. We can see that it's exaggerated and that we're looking for exactly what a prepubescent gore-intoxicated is looking for between what Krusty does when the cartoon does not play.

Homer however gets the best parent price for the evening. Having attracted Bart to the television with the promise of seeing an old man being hit by a boat in a public gym, that would only push Bart's face to his own public humiliation. Next, review a story about the boy's mischief that almost ends with "and then I called you here and I made fun of you, I always do it" before finally concluding what imbecile Bart was. It is here that Bart becomes radicalized. He becomes the ultimate feminist, because he does not judge them as girls, but as pranks. And, as grade six students, they go beyond it. It's a top level shit and it respects achievements.

"We did it, we prejudged something without giving it a chance, I'm so proud of ourselves," said Nelson after the restart of the Itchy and Scratchy women's segment and the end of the symbolic segment. From the moment we will see the masks, we know that this will be a tribute to the Russian band of Pussy Riot acts-pop. Bossy Riot sarcastically marks the old clbad of domestic economy as their war room. There they knitted their masks and did other useful things. They also build "awareness bombs", which they drop everywhere in Springfield. In an attempt to include the genre, they let Bart join them as a slave and call him Novaries.

Meanwhile, Millhouse is forming a boys sorority called the Boys Right Association or BRA, which looks more like a support group. They do not want to be forced to do girly things like paying attention. The boys here are considered deplorable minor leagues, but their group is only updating the Little Rascals' He Man Woman Haters Club. Everything is wrong. A donut becomes the ultimate symbol of masculinity. All Millhouse's parents deduce that their son has friends.

BRA's first act of rebellion is "hate-not-watch," while Bossy Riot's clever rebellion leaves Springfield alive in fear of masked pranks. The Millhouse group badembles a BRA burn, whose fire was an accident, and Krusty goes to the boys' club and brings Itchy and Scratchy back to their original place. He does it because patriarchy is a weiner. Bossy Riot is finally going too far, threatening the thing that Bart and Lisa love, the clbadic episodes of Itchy and Scratch.

In the end, everything is a matter of friends and Lisa finally finds her gang. Bossy Riot threatens to get things done. But they take it on the streets even Lisa is afraid to ride a bike. This is a major growth spurt for Lisa. The simpsons, who traditionally seek to insult both sides of the political spectrum, have recently been labeled as liberals in some of the most innocuous and microaggressive ways. "I do not know what to be liberal," observes early Marge, in a moment of prefiguration that seems to be a new standard of the series. Lisa has always been the poster girl for liberal shame. She indulges in all niches and is often described as an "I know everything", mainly because she knows everything, but also with a slightly superior attitude.

The simpsons "Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy" is a terrific and avant-garde entry for the season. This season has always rewarded what could be universally accepted bad behavior. The main activity of tonight is vandalism. Bart does not admit to being at Bossy Riot with his sister as she would be happy anyway or admire him for that. He does this because she says that knowing that his brother is doing something to him would destroy his entire vision of the universe. The expectations of episode kebabs. Each turn is due to something taboo, like laughing inappropriately or admitting to the boys' club that the girls do not envy them.
