STOCKHOLM, March 25, 2019 / PRNewswire / – Biotage AB (Biotage), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: BIOT.ST) – The Biotage AB Nominating Committee Announces Proposed Election of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Directors Administration for the next Annual General Meeting ("AGM").
The nomination committee proposes:
- that the board of directors consists of six directors elected by the annual general meeting,
- re-election of current board directors Peter Ehrenheim, Thomas Eklund and Karolina Lawitz. Nils-Olof Björk and Yvonne Mårtensson refused the re-election,
- election of Reinhard Vogt, Mark Bradley and Torben Jørgensen as new directors and
- this Thomas Eklund is re-elected chairman of the board of directors.
The other proposals of the Nominating Committee will be published in the Notice of Meeting at the Annual General Meeting.
The Nominating Committee for AGM 2019 is composed of Ove Mattsson, Chairman of the Nominating Committee, appointed by shareholders Ann-Charlotte Bergström, Eva Forsberg, Lena Westergren, Jonas Lenman, Ove Mattsson and Susanne Wetterlin, who agreed to collaborate by jointly exercising their voting rights in the company for the long-term management of the company, Harald Høegh, appointed by Vind AS, Marianne Flink, named by founder Swedbank Robur, and Thomas Eklund, Chairman of the Board of Biotage AB.
The AGA will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2019 in Uppsala.
