Dancehall's artist Stonebwoy has added another international award to his Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
The President of the BHIM Nation won the Favorite African Star category award at the event that took place on March 24th.
The hit hit "Top Skanka" was in the running with Adesua Etomi-Wellington, IK Osakioduwa, both from Nigeria, and Kenyan Sauti Sol.
The artist was not present to receive the award but the organizers played a video where he was seen expressing his joy of winning the award.
Stonebwoy became the first African Dancehall artist to win a BET and Nickelodeon award. He won the BET Best Act in Africa in 2015 and the KCA (Favorite African Star) 2019 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
Stonebwoy visited his Instagram page to announce to his fans who voted for him the victory.
He wrote: "Hooray !!!! Thank you for voting my people ……. Favorite African star. CHOICE PRICES CHILDREN … Ghana ???????? Won @NickAfrica #BHIMNATIONGlobal "
