US-based talk show host James Cordon is due to be replaced by Sky One's popular TV program A League of Their Own after nine years at the helm.
The former star of Gavin and Stacey, 40, had to step down as the show's host, after a series of clashes between shootings brought about the bosses to turn to a number of guest guests.
It will be the first time that Corden will miss the show since its debut in 2010.
A source told The Sun that the success of The Late Late Show in the United States had impacted its opportunity to participate in the Sky show.

They revealed that "James loves the league and that he's always sure to be present," but this summer he discovered that "his professional commitments prevent him from doing all the the series".
This is not the end, because James hopes that, "next year, he will return to normal because all concerned will be absent".
James hosted the series with cricket legend Andrew & # 39; Freddie & # 39; Flintoff and football star Jamie Redknapp as team captains.

The comedian had previously described his role in A League of Their Own as "the best job in the world," and said, when he saw the show in America, "the first thing I ever did was to I said was: "I have this show in the UK that I like to do and as long as I work in America, I would like to continue doing this show".
James was hoping better than guest guests did not impress too much, because Have I Got News for You has not looked back since it was presented to different presenters each week.
