The NC Special Competition will begin this weekend after the launch

The special football tournament of the GFA standardization committee has been officially launched and is expected to start this weekend, March 30th and 31st.

The launch of the competition that took place on Monday evening in the premises of the secretariat of the GFA was also marked by the official unveiling of the logo of the competition.

The logo is red for Protection and Orientation, Yellow for Loyalty and Success, Green for Renewal and Growth, and White for Purity and Peace.

All Premier League clubs and Division 1 clubs, with the exception of WA All Stars and New Edubiase, have confirmed their participation in the competition.

The chair of the standardization committee, Kofi Amoah, announced that each participating team would receive 30,000 GHc. The winner would win 200 000.00 GHc, while the finalist would be awarded 100 000.00 GH in the first place.

The winner of tier 2 will win 150,000,000.00 GHc and the second, 5,000,000.00 GHc.

Amoah also said the competition "will be used to test the reforms that will be implemented as well as the speedy settlement of cases".

The competition aims to revive the national football competition in Ghana after a 9-month hiatus since Anas Number 12.

The winner of the first round of the competition will represent Ghana at the next CAF Champions League competition, while the winner of the second round will represent Ghana at the next Confederation Cup,
