CUPERTINO (Dow Jones) – Apple wants to attract more customers with a variety of new offers. The US technology group has announced, in cooperation with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard, a credit card, which would be repaid with 1 to 3% of the turnover. Interested parties could apply for the card via their smartphone, according to the manufacturer of the iPhone.

In addition, Apple has introduced a new application called Apple News Plus News. As the company has announced, it is a premium version of the existing free Apple News application. The new offer would cost $ 9.99 a month. It provides access to articles from more than 300 magazines, including Vogue, Sports Illustrated, and newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times.

Apple explained that the application will not record items read by customers. This also applies to advertisers.

With the new offers, Apple also wants to offset the decline in revenue by core business. In the last quarter, iPhone sales fell 15%.
