The majority in Parliament described as clearly misleading the minority 's claims that Mahran Mustapha Baajour, a Lebanese businessman, was reportedly kidnapped in Ghana.

A member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, John Ntim Fordjour, said in a statement Monday that "credible checks carried out by the National Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, unquestionably baderted that 39; none of these individuals had arrived at the Kotoka International Airport.

The attention of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament was drawn to a press release issued by the minority reporting rather outrageous allegations regarding the abduction of a Mahran Mustapha Baajour supposed to be a Lebanese businessman of Palestinian origin at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra, in December 13, 2018.

We are anxious to state unequivocally that credible checks carried out by the National Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration unequivocally attest that none of these people had arrived at Kotoka International Airport. obviously false accounts given by the highest ranking member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

It is perfectly clear that the claims of the minority are false, unfounded and contain no truth. Moreover, the senior member and the minority did not verify the facts with the competent bodies before the publication of the statement, which evokes a deliberate attempt to undermine the image and reputation of the organization.
