Anas documentary scene denouncing corruption at GFA
Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas launched an online petition calling for the prosecution of former president of the Ghana Football Federation, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Nyantakyi was captured during a secret registration by Anas allegedly demanding bribes on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana ($ 5 million); Vice President of the Republic of Ghana (USD 3 million); Minister of Roads and Highways (US $ 2 million) and Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways.
However, Anas fears that Nyantakyi, who was a member of the FIFA Council until June 8, 2018, was the subject of criminal prosecution for abuse of authority.
In Ghana, he (Nyantakyi) was arrested and released on bail, and the police opened an investigation into the alleged criminal activities of Mr. Nyantakyi and submitted their findings to the Attorney General last year. General has not yet committed date, "said Anas in a statement.

Signatures needed to act on Kwesi Nyantakyi's proven fault
Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi is a Ghanaian who, until 8 June 2018, was a member of the FIFA Council. a member of the FIFA Committee on Associations; first vice-president of the African Football Confederation (CAF); President of the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU) and President of the Ghana Football Association.
According to reports in the past, he was corrupted by corruption, but dismissed them for lack of evidence. He sometimes threatened or sued journalists for the purpose of silencing them. We wanted to know if there was any basis for the perception of corruption, especially after the high-profile advertising money-claim fiasco that characterized Ghana's participation in the World Cup. of FIFA, 2014 in Brazil.
For three (3) months in 2017, I (along with my Tiger Eye team) conducted an investigation (and then produced an undercover journalism documentary) in which we found that Mr. Nyantakyi had violated criminal laws. in force in Ghana, including money laundering, bribery, bribery and fraud by false pretenses, by abusing its office. These were discovered as tangible facts, recorded in an audio-visual recording, correspondence by email and a memorandum of understanding drafted by Mr. Nyantakyi in his writing, then typed and signed by him.
He abused his functions in the following areas:
1. A fraudulent scheme in which he created a company that would divert sponsorship contracts to the Ghana Football Federation.
2. In a plan developed to present my dress to the Government of the Republic of Ghana. Mr. Nyantakyi claimed $ 12 million for the "appearance" for distribution to the President of the Republic of Ghana ($ 5 million); Vice President of the Republic of Ghana (USD 3 million); Minister of Roads and Roads ($ 2 million); Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways ($ 1 million) and for himself ($ 1 million). These acts violated his role in FIFA, a Ghanaian citizen and as President of the Ghana Football Federation.
Based on the foregoing, we requested a thorough investigation of Mr. Nyantakyi's activities, in particular his administration of the Ghana Football Association and Fountain Savings & Loans Limited. FIFA investigated and fined and banned it from any football-related activity. In Ghana, he was arrested and released on bail. Police have completed investigations into cases of probable criminal behavior of Mr. Nyantakyi. They presented their findings to the Attorney General last year. The Attorney General has not taken any action to date.
Help us ASK the Attorney General to move this file forward. Mr. Nyantakyi should be subject to criminal prosecution for some of his faults, which are on the verge of crime.
