A family from Nsuta, in the central district of Sekyere, in the Ashanti region, was shocked after a 13-year-old girl was reportedly beaten, killed and hung on a tree to testify to his suicide.

Information gathered by AdomOnline.com revealed that the 13-year-old woman, identified as Abigail Akurugu, had been found under a mango tree Sunday near her home after her father, George Bandoh, would have presumably repressed her.

There was a rope (hangman's rope) on the tree, which gave the presumed impression that he could have committed suicide.

The six students of the Roman Catholic elementary school Nsuta reportedly broke into the home after his father rebuked him during his frequent outings.

Little Abigail did not return home after the incident, but her family thought she had gone to an uncle's home in town.

Unfortunately, the body of the girl was found under a mango tree by a security officer at the Nsuta Health Directorate, located near the victim's home on Monday.

The security guard, who patrolled after work, rushed to inform the center director who immediately called the police on the scene.

She was taken to the morgue of Asante Mampong hospital where checks revealed that she had blood in her anus and sperm in her private part, raising suspicions of brutal rape.

"We suspect that the perpetrators murdered her after committing the crime because she's probably someone she knows who did not want her identity to be revealed," officials said. health.

The police said they opened an investigation into the incident and said the culprits would be arrested and prosecuted.
