Health officials in Rockland County, New York, declared the state of emergency amid a measles outbreak. The county prohibits unvaccinated children from going out into public spaces for 30 days. There were 153 confirmed cases of measles in Rockland County, about 40 miles north of New York. The majority of cases have been seen in children, most of whom have not been vaccinated.
