Jurgen Klopp takes stock of Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury in anticipation of Liverpool's visit to Tottenham

Jurgen Klopp does not know if Trent Alexander-Arnold will be fit for Liverpool's clash with Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday.

The Reds right back has pulled out of England last week after succumbing to a back problem that had erupted in the 4-2 win over Burnley earlier this month.

Alexander-Arnold was retired as a precaution at Anfield on March 10 before playing against the pain barrier in the victories over Bayern Munich and Fulham.

The 20-year-old was determined to prove his ability to play Gareth Southgate's Three Lions before being sent back to Merseyside after being badessed by the national team's medical staff.

England was informed of Alexander-Arnold's physical condition before the international break but wanted his own medical team to evaluate it before making a decision.
