She is well known for her bold fashion choices, but Princess Béatrice opted for a more subdued look as she arrived at a fashion show Tuesday night.
The 30-year-old Queen's granddaughter was all smiles as she mingled with Lady Mary Charteris, 31, at the launch of the second collaboration between the Misela Handbag Chain and the 33-year-old Alice Naylor-Leyland in London.
In search of royal attire in a black velvet dress with blue details, she combined her elegant outfit with sophisticated tights and stiletto heels.

Alice opted for a 1970s powder-blue jumpsuit with a loose fit and a straight collar, while The Big Pink model and model Lady Mary Charteris would dress in a green tweed suit.
Keeping her auburn braids loose, Princess Beatrice opted for a discreet makeup, highlighting her eyes with mascara, before adding a hint of lip gloss.
Model Amber Le Bon, 29, was also beautiful in yellow while she was accompanied by her mother, 54-year-old Yasmin.
This day marked the second collaboration of Alice with the founder of Misela, Serra Türkerto, and the creation of a new version of the popular Bella bag.

Lady Emily Compton, former editor of Tatler in the social field, looked elegant in a brown trench coat while she was smiling at mundane Astrid Harbord, who had opted for a knit collar blouse and a black skirt.
Beatrice was without her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 34, with whom she has often been seen in recent months.
At first, the couple kept their romance out of the spotlight when they started dating in October 2018. But in recent weeks, they have been photographed together, especially during their first official public appearance at a gala from the National Portrait Gallery with the Duchess of Cambridge earlier this month.
