Apparently out of nowhere, Asuka put her Smack down The women's title in play against Charlotte Flair on Tuesday night. Flair used the match to prove his membership in the main event of WrestleMania 35.
Two weeks away from WWE's biggest show, and still with no opponents or rivalries, the reasons why Asuka accepted the title defense have never been clearly cleared up.
Once the bell rang, there was no doubt that Flair and Asuka could create another instant clbadic.
Then a funny thing happened on the road from Asuka to WrestleManiashe tapped clean in the middle of the ring.
Just like that, Smack down has a new female champion and the main event WrestleMania 35 can now be a match of unification.
