Kojo Poku, an energy expert, has announced a reward of $ 1,000 (5,084.50 ¢ GH) for anyone who provides the police with credible information leading to the arrest of the person or group who has hacked a big transmission tower to Tema.

An internal committee was set up at GRIDCo to investigate the incident.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police and National Security also conducts separate investigations into the issue to help apprehend the culprits.
