The co-founder and president of Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd (ASX: AB1), Yat Siu, is working with Proactive Investors to partner the gaming and technology company with Formula 1 to develop a block game.
Siu says that Animoca is the industry pioneer with this new collaboration, noting that other companies in the blockchain sector would now think about how they could do something similar.
"I think what makes sense in the blockchain business is that it's the biggest brand to adopt a chain game and non-fungible chips," says Siu.
"I do not think anyone has done that for the moment in terms of well-known brands like Formula 1."
