The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) urged citizens to unite and actively participate in the fight against corruption.

He observed that, while accelerating the campaign for the complete eradication of corruption in the country, a collective public effort was needed to achieve the goal.

Mr Setriakor Gagakuma, director of the South Dayi District Commission, said citizens could become more active, more adept and more courageous in reporting financial management violations or corruption in their institutions, agencies Only departments or communities were well aware of the dangers of corruption for the individual and the country.

Gagakuma issued the warning when the commission hired some communities in South Dayi District, Volta Region, as part of the second phase of the accountability, rule of law and counter-terrorism program.
