Christian Pulisic Excites Chelsea Fans During USA vs. Chile Match

They still have a lot to do in the current campaign – with a top-four finish and potential success in the Europa League – but it's safe to say that the season has been disappointing for Chelsea.

Having started the campaign with the intention of keeping pace with leaders Liverpool and Manchester City, the Blues have fallen and are now in sixth position, under increasing pressure from the boss Maurizio Sarri.

With that in mind, many fans have already begun to look to next season, and one man in particular has helped them do that with what he did on Tuesday night.

Christian Pulisic will become the club's third most expensive player ever – after Kepa Arrizabalaga and Alvaro Morata – when he will join Borussia Dortmund this summer.

And he gave fans a preview of what to expect with a brilliant goal in the United States friendly match against Chile in Texas.

Only four minutes pbaded when Gyasi Zardes gave Pulisic the advantage over a lightning strike from the United States. He brought the score to a brilliant finish on goalkeeper Gabriel Arias.

That goal made Pulisic, 20, the youngest player to reach 10 attempts for the US men's national team.

Blues fans watching were impressed, as was the official US Twitter account.

Chile equalized just five minutes later thanks to Oscar Opazo, and the match ended on a score of 1-1.
