Apple Pay is coming soon to Austria, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Greece and Romania

Apple Pay appears to be on the brink of another European expansion, with next availability in at least seven other countries.



The N26 mobile banking service announced today on its Twitter account that Apple Pay will be available soon in Estonia, Greece, Portugal, Slovakia and Slovenia, one day after revealing that Apple Pay will soon arrive in Austria. Similarly, ING Bank announced that Apple Pay is coming soon to Romania.

The Slovakian bank Slovenská sporiteľňa has confirmed that it will start supporting Apple Pay later this year, as reported by Aktuality.sk.

Apple Pay It is gradually being extended to Europe and the Middle East, including Belgium and Kazakhstan in November, Germany in December and the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia last month. Apple said the service, which debuted in the United States in October 2014, will be available in more than 40 regions by the end of 2019.
