Inter has confirmed that Stefan de Vrij would miss his next Serie A match against Lazio due to a hamstring injury.
According to a medical report on Inter's official website, De Vrij trained in training with the Netherlands and these tests revealed "a problem in the right thigh".
The defender played all of his country's 4-0 win against Belarus last week, but was missing for the 3-2 defeat to Germany.
At 27, he will now have to follow a 'personalized training program' and will be re-evaluated 'early next week'.
